At Horizon Counseling Services, we understand that you may have questions about our services, policies, and approach to care. Below, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to provide you with the information you need. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Most of our clinicians offer a hybrid model, allowing you to choose between telehealth or in-person sessions at our Centerville location. However, please note that Crystalyn Hori-Wilson and Bethany Perez are available for telehealth sessions only.

For those without insurance, our self-pay rates are $175 for the first session, which includes a comprehensive assessment. Ongoing sessions are priced at $150 each.

 

Yes, many of our clinicians at Horizon Counseling Services specialize in working with children. We provide services for children starting from the age of 4 and up.

 

We accept various insurance plans depending on the clinician. The insurances we work with include Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, EMI, PEHP, HMHI, Triwest, and SelectHealth.

 

Our hours vary depending on the clinician, but typically we operate Monday through Saturday, with appointments available from 9 AM to 7 PM. Saturday hours may vary.

 

Yes, several of our clinicians are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

 

Yes, some of our clinicians are trained in play therapy and sand tray therapy.

Yes, a few of our clinicians are informed by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
