Benefits of Working with LDS or Non-LDS Therapists
Tailored Support for Every Individual in Centerville, Utah
Choosing the right therapist is an important step in your mental health journey. Whether you’re looking for an LDS or non-LDS therapist, here are some unique benefits each approach can offer:
LDS Therapist Benefits
For those seeking a faith-aligned perspective, working with an LDS therapist provides a supportive environment that understands and respects LDS values. This approach can help clients feel more comfortable discussing personal challenges and growth within a framework that resonates with their beliefs. An LDS therapist can offer insights into spirituality, faith-related challenges, and maintaining balance in line with LDS teachings.Non-LDS Therapist Benefits
For those who prefer a secular perspective, a non-LDS therapist offers a neutral, non-religious approach, focusing on evidence-based techniques that suit clients of all or no faith backgrounds. This option can be ideal for those seeking mental health support without a faith-based component, allowing for a broader perspective on issues and goals. A non-LDS therapist can provide flexible and inclusive support that respects and adapts to each individual’s unique background and beliefs.A Personalized Approach for Every Client
At our Centerville practice, we ensure that each client receives individualized care tailored to their preferences, whether they align with an LDS or non-LDS approach. Our goal is to help clients work through their challenges in a way that feels both comfortable and effective. We’re here to support everyone, from those facing anxiety, depression, and life transitions to parenting concerns and personal growth goals.
With both LDS and non-LDS therapists available, we are committed to providing an inclusive, compassionate, and effective path to mental wellness for each client.

Her expertise and experience working with the BIPOC community has been a great resource for myself and clients. I highly recommend Crystalyn and her practice.Posted on Google Carrie Morgan I sought out Crystalyn Hori-Wilson because I read in her profile that one of the methods she practiced was EMDR therapy. My son has had excellent results with his own counselling and EMDR processing and I really wanted to work through some issues with that specific approach. Chrystalyn was careful to ease into the process wtih me over several weeks time, building trust and understanding before going deeper. I have been so surprised at the relief and release I have found in working with Crystalyn the past few months. While some might not see my issues as traumatic, I have experienced beliefs and patterns that have held me back in life for decades. Working on EMDR with Crystalyn has brought me many psitive shifts in perspective as well as emotional relief. If you want to work with someone who is committed to her practice and to your well-being, I highly recommend working with Crystalyn.
